the forest a family of pigs: Mother Pig, Father Pig and
three little pigs.Second Jester. The three little pigs grew very
large, but they did not help their parents about the
house.Занавес открывается. Звучит музыка. Лесная поляна. На
полянке уютный домик, в котором живут мама, папа и трое
поросят. Мама стирает белье, папа красит забор, а
поросята кувыркаются, бегают, шумят, проказничают.
Мама и папа устали, садятся на скамейку.Father Pig. Children, children! Come here!10
Поросята подбегают к родителям.Mother Pig. You have grown too large to live in
the small house.Father Pig. You must go and find some land to
build a house for yourselves.Mother Pig. However, you must always be
careful of the wicked Wolf.First Pig. OK!Second Pig. Don’t worry!Third Pig. We’ll be very careful to stay away

Number One was very gay,and he built his house with hay.With a hey, hey toot, he blew on his flute,
and he played around all day.Number Two was fond of jigs,and so he built his house with twigs,Hey diddle, diddle, he played on his fiddle

straw to spare as I would like to build a house for
myself.First Man. Yes, of course! I’ll give you enough
straw to build a sweet little house. (Уходит.)Первый поросенок начинает строить себе домик из соломы.12
First Pig. Now the Wolf will not catch me for
his breakfast!Второй и третий поросенок идут по дорожке, напевая весе¬
лую песенку. Навстречу им выходит второй человек,
который несет вязанку палок и веток.Second Pig. Hello! Please, would you give me
some sticks so that I could build a house for myself?Second Man. Yes, of course! I’ll give you enough
sticks to build a house. (Уходит.)Второй поросенок начинает строить себе домик из палок.Second Pig. Now the Wolf cannot catch me for
his lunch!Третий поросенок идет по дорожке. Ему навстречу идет
третий ч е л о в е к, который тащит мешок кирпичей.Third Pig. Good day! Please, would you give
me some bricks to build the house?Third Man. Yes, of course! I’ll give you enough
bricks to build a strong house.Third Pig. Thank you very much! Now the Wolf
will not catch and eat me.Уходят.Scene IIIНа сцене три домика — из соломы, из веток, из кирпича.Выходят шуты.
Second Jester. One day the Wolf walked and
saw the sweet little house from straw. He came and began
to knock.Появляется волк и стучит в дверь домика из соломы.Wolf. Little Pig, Little Pig, let me come in!First Pig. No, no! You are not coming here,
not by the hair on my chinny-chm-chin. I cannot let
you come in!W о 1 f. Then I’ll huff and Г11 puff and I’ 11 blow your
house down! And that’ll be the end of you! (Дует на
домик.)First and Second Jesters (вместе). And
he huffs, and he puffs, and he huffs, and he puffs!First Jester. The house from straw falls down
and Little Pig runs away.Домик падает. Первый поросенок выбегает из него
и прячется во втором домике. Волк подбегает ко второму
домику и стучится в дверь.Wolf. Little Pigs, Little Pigs! Let me come in!First and Second Pigs (вместе). No, no!
You are not coming here, not by the hair on our chinny-
chin-chin. We cannot let you come in!Wolf. Then I’ll huff, I’ll puff and 111 blow your
house down! And that’ll be the end of you. (Дует на
второй домик.)First and Second Jesters (вместе). And
he huffs, and he puffs, and he huffs, and he puffs!Second Jester. The second house falls down
and Pigs run away.14

again, but only the doors and windows rattle. He is very

Queen is a girl. She lilces New Year’s parties, the New
Year’s fir-tree, she plays with dolls and toys. Our Queen
is an orphan, she hasn’t got parents.Stepdaughter. I am an orphan, too.Soldier. What a pity! Poor girl! Let me help you
with your firewood.19

But what are birds and animals doing now?December. Some animals are sleeping now. Birds
are in the hot countries. Hares and squirrels, wolves and
foxes have got warm winter coats. Halloo! The forest

учительский стол. За партой королева, перед нейучитель.Queen. I don’t like writing. My hands are dirty!

four lines only?Queen. All right! Dictate!Teacher.The grass is green.The sun is bright.The swallow is singingAnd flying to us.Queen. I shall write “the grass is green” only.

into this basket?M о t h e r. A lot!Daughter. Can we buy a fur coat?Mother. A fur coat! Both a fur coat and many
skirts and tights and many other expensive things.D a u g h t e r. And what do you think about this basket?Mother. This basket is bigger than that one. We’ll
have enough money to buy a stone house, a horse, a
sheep and a pig.Daughter. And what about this basket, Mummy?Mother. This is the biggest one. You will eat on
gold, sleep on gold and wear gold.Daughter. OK. I’ll take this basket. What a
pity! Our Queen decided to make fun of us.Mother. She is a young girl, so she invents all
sorts of odds and ends.D a u g h t e r. Suppose somebody will go to the forest,
find snowdrops and fill a big basket with gold Suppose
snowdrops are growing under the snow now. Let me go
to the forest. I want to find them!Mother. No, I don’t allow you to go to the forest.
It is very cold now. Look out of the window! It is

remember about it. Have you had a good rest? You must

bring snowdrops and we’ll get the biggest basket of gold.
Take a basket and go away and don’t come back until it’s

snowdrops.Все переглядываются и смеются.J a nua ry. Snowdrops in January? Is it a joke, girl?Stepdaughter. My stepmother sent me here for
snowdrops and forbade me to return without them.February. What are you going to do?Stepdaughter. I shall stay in the forest and wait
till the month of April comes. I would rather freeze here
than return without them. (Садится и плачет.)Месяцы шепчутся,April. Brother January! Let me take your place
for a single hour.January. Gladly would I grant you an hour,
brother, but April cannot come before the months of
February and March.February. Let him take my place, I don’t mind.
We all know the girl. We meet her at the ice-hole with
her pails or in the forest with her bundle of firewood.July. And we, summer months, know her, too.
