APPLICATION NOTE
OctaBus Flash Data Sequence
1. Introduction
There are two types OctaBus Flash in Macronix products. The major difference is data output
sequence in DTR-OPI mode. Due to 1 clock in/out 2 Byte data in DTR-OPI mode, always. Two
types OctaBus Flash.
• Macronix type: Data sequence follow odd address first then even address. D1/D0, D3/D2 …
• Micron compatible type: Data sequence follow even address first then odd address. D0/D1,
D2/D3…
