ОБРАЗОВАТЕЛЬНАЯ И ВОСПИТАТЕЛЬНАЯ ЦЕННОСТЬ ВНЕКЛАССНОЙ РАБОТЫ
Как утверждают психологи, дети 5-7 лет способны воспринять и усвоить огромное количество интересного с их точки зрения материала. То есть, практически каждый ребенок может освоить огромное количество новых знаний, только ему в этом нужно помочь.
Нужно ли дополнительно уделять внимание нашим детям, которые изучают английский язык в 1-3 классах? Без сомнения, да.
Внеклассная работа по английскому языку в начальной школе зачастую проводится сейчас как дополнительная, консультационная или факультативная работа учителя со слабо успевающими по предмету учениками.
Работа, проводимая учителями вне класса, должна быть направлена на углубление знаний по предмету, развитие речевых навыков младших школьников, расширение лексического запаса, получение дополнительной лингвострановедческой информации об англоговорящих странах. И, конечно же, вся работа учителя английского языка вне класса должна разбудить интерес детей к углубленному изучению языка, использованию

его в обиходном общении, применению в других сферах школьной деятельности. Этот процесс неразрывно связан с активностью учащихся. Активность возникает в определенных условиях. Учащийся должен чувствовать потребность в изучении английского языка и иметь необходимые предпосылки для удовлетворения этой потребности. Основными источниками являются мотивация и желание. У подавляющего большинства учащихся начального этапа обучения изначально присутствует высокая мотивация изучения английского языка. Они с большим интересом и желанием приступают к изучению языка, хотят научиться читать, говорить, понимать на английском языке. Интерес учащегося зависит от его успехов в овладении языком. И если ученик видит, что продвигается вперед в слушании, говорении, чтении и письме, он с интересом занимается этим.
Ученик охотно изучает предмет, проявляет активность во внеклассных мероприятиях, если он понимает его социальную (знание английского языка является в определенной степени показателем культуры, интеллигентности) и личную значимость.
В задачу учителя входит показать школьникам важность знания английского языка, вызвать у учеников чувство радости, удовольствия от того, что они что-то уже понимают, могут сказать сами, прочитать или понять о чем говорится в тексте, что-то написать по-английски, что эти возможности учащихся увеличиваются от занятия к занятию.
В изучении английского языка следует различать интеллектуальную, эмоциональную и рече

вую активность, которые в совокупности способны обеспечить благоприятные условия для овладения языком во внеурочное время.
На начальном этапе интеллектуальная активность достигается постановкой проблемных вопросов, т.е. таких, которые ставят учащихся перед необходимостью подумать, проанализировать, сравнить, сопоставить, обобщить, и таким образом подключить мышление детей (английские версии украинских и русских сказок, утренников, игр и пр.).
Особую роль на начальном этапе должна сыграть эмоциональная активность, проявляющаяся в том, что дети не безразличны к выполняемой ими деятельности. В ходе активной работы над каким-либо заданием у детей возникают положительные и отрицательные переживания, что, в свою очередь, развивает и воспитывает эмоции детей.
Говоря о речевой активности, следует иметь в виду, что начальный этап в обучении английскому языку вносит некоторые ограничения в проявление речевой деятельности, связанные с недостаточностью речевых и языковых средств. Во время внеклассной работы необходимо стимулировать речевую активность так, чтобы она была по возможности мотивирована, а это значит, что у учащихся должна быть вызвана потребность понять высказывание, воспринимаемое на слух, при чтении, высказывании своего отношения к происходящему и т.д.
В любом случае очень важно развивать у учащихся инициативность речевого поведения. Этого можно достичь при условии, что ученик из

объекта обучения становится действующим лицом со своей собственной репликой (или высказыванием) и манерой поведения.
Речевая активность непременно связана с формированием у школьников умения комбинировать речевые единицы по-новому, в связи с меняющимися ситуациями и речевыми задачами в ходе проведения внеклассного мероприятия. Это и позволит «задействовать» тот небольшой языковый материал, которым уже владеют дети.
Именно во внеклассной работе на фоне отсутствия англоязычной языковой среды младшие школьники получают практику в применении английского языка.
У руководителя языкового клуба для малышей возникает проблема увеличения активного времени для каждого участника клуба. Здесь на помощь должны прийти родители, старшеклассники, старшие братья и сестры, видеоматериалы, магнитофонные записи детских песен, сказок и т.п.
Наиболее распространенной формой проведения внеклассной работы по английскому языку в начальной школе является Клуб английского языка. Организуя его, учитель рассчитывает на то, что его будут посещать дети, которые хотят дополнительно изучать язык, традиции и обычаи, культуру англоговорящих стран, быт коренных жителей. Допустимые варианты клубной и факультативной работы даются ниже. Хочется напомнить, что высокий эмоциональный настрой, предполагаемые невероятные события и фантазийные ситуации помогут детям раскрыться. Было бы неплохо, чтобы сами участ

ники клуба придумали церемонию вступления в члены клуба, характерную деталь костюма (или эмблему), кодекс чести для всех участников клуба и т.п. Это внесет определенный шарм и единение во всей целенаправленно спланированной воспитательной и образовательной работе преподавателя английского языка — руководителя клуба.
АНКЕТИРОВАНИЕ В НАЧАЛЬНОЙ ШКОЛЕ
Анкетирование проводится с целью выявления заинтересованности детей в изучении английского языка, истории и культуры Англии и других англоговорящих стран.
Учитель должен заготовить бланки анкет, где предлагаемые вопросы (или какая-то часть вопросов) будут расположены в произвольном порядке. Опрос можно проводить среди учащихся одного или нескольких начальных классов.
Вопросы:
1. Из каких частей состоит Объединенное Королевство Великобритании и Северной Ирландии?
2. Какой город является столицей всего королевства?
3. Подчеркните правильный ответ:

ВАРИАНТЫ ПРОВЕДЕНИЯ ВНЕКЛАССНОЙ РАБОТЫ ПО АНГЛИЙСКОМУ ЯЗЫКУ В НАЧАЛЬНОЙ ШКОЛЕ
Внеклассная работа по английскому языку в начальной школе
Внеклассная работа по английскому языку в начальной школе предполагает: учет желаний и интересов детей, добровольность участия, целеустремленность участников, развитие личностных качеств каждого ученика-участника, перспективу роста и ожидание положительного результата своей работы, лингвострановедческую направленность.
Ориентировочный план внеклассной работы по английскому языку
1. Вводное занятие (различные формы).
1-й класс «Мы начинаем учить английский язык».
2-3 класс — открытие занятий клуба (например, «English for boys and girls instead of toys»). Цели: познакомить детей с программой занятий, вызвать интерес, положительный настрой; познакомить родителей с внеклассной работой как формой обучения.

На этом занятии дети показывают все то, что уже они умеют, им дается перспектива.
Целесообразно провести это занятие в виде небольшого праздника, который объединил бы детей и заинтересовал.
2. «Веселый английский» — разнообразные варианты проведения (от игры, конкурса — до праздника).
В зависимости от возраста дети могут инсценировать анекдоты, шутки (1-3 кл.), ставить сценки, пьески (2-3 кл.)
3. «Our theatre» — (в 1-м кл. —подготовительная работа). Дети 2-3 кл. занимаются постановкой пьесок на английском языке. Здесь очень важно не нагружать пьесы сложным языковым материалом.
4. «We know many songs» — это может быть праздник, конкурс, игра-инсценировка «Приезд английской рок-группы».
5. «Stop! Look! Listen!» — занятие, на котором дети будут петь песни, проведут конкурс художников.
6. «Our autumn ball» —праздник, посвященный началу (концу) осени. Его можно совместить с «Праздником осени» — внеклассным мероприятием по природоведению, чтению.
7. «Welcome! Welcome New Year Day!» — дети очень любят этот новогодний праздник и заинтересовать их не составит труда, а гости — Дед Мороз и Санта Клаус — помогут ребятам сравнить традиции празднования Нового года.
8. «Happy Birthday to you!» — день именинника (все песни, сценки и стихи — для детей, родившихся осенью, летом, весной или зимой).
9. «Mother’s day» — праздник, посвященный 8 Марта.

10. Конкурсы (например, «The magic forest») — дети выполняют множество интересных заданий, используя знания, полученные на уроках английского языка и во время внеклассной работы.
11. «Праздник для друзей» (итоговое занятие).
К участию привлекаются старшеклассники, родители, ученики из других школ. Дети должны видеть, что то, что они делают — важно, полезно, и помогает еще лучше выучить иностранный язык.
Варианты клубной работы по английскому языку в начальной школе
Первый класс
Тема 1: «Подружись с English» (праздник устраивают старшеклассники — краткое знакомство со страной, жителями).
Тема 2: «Первые шаги» (что я знаю на английском: стихи, песни, игра в слова).
Тема 3: «Открываем календарь» (итог за месяц: что знаем; что сделали; рисунки).
Тема 4: «Учимся, играя» (игры на закрепление изученного; игра «Кто лучше скажет»; пантомима «Угадай слово»).
Второй класс
Тема 1: «Альбом летних впечатлений» (комментарии к рисункам на английском языке).
Тема 2: «Сами с усами» (праздничный концерт или спектакль).
Тема 3: «Путешествие в Англию» (на Трафальгарской площади, задачка от Биг Бэна, по волнам Темзы...).
Тема 4: «Мы юные англичане» (что знаете об Англии, английский этикет).

Третий класс
Тема 1: «Инсценировкасказки».
Тема 2: Конкурс «Мистер и Мисс Грамматика».
Тема 3: «Осенний букет» (на листьях — задания; история страны, язык, фольклор).
Тема 4: «Английская поэзия» (сочини сам).
Вариант факультативной работы по английскому языку в первом классе
После курса устного вводного опережения ученики первого класса знают много стишков, песенок, считалочек на английском языке; они успешно выступают на утренниках, участвуют в концертах. Дети очень старательно готовятся к выступлениям, поэтому учителю необходимо дополнительное время для занятий. Во втором полугодии первого класса целесообразнее всего проводить факультатив по английскому языку, который расширит кругозор детей, поможет закрепить полученные на основных уроках знания. На эти занятия приглашаются те, кто недостаточно хорошо усвоил программный материал, а также все желающие.
Тематика факультатива:
Тема 1: «Мы — воспитанные англичане» (знакомство, приветствие, прощание).
Тема 2: «Мой день рождения» (английский этикет).
Тема 3: «Учусь накрывать на стол» (будни и праздники).
Тема 4: «Выбираем подарок на день рождения» (подарки по интересам).
Тема 5: «Моя любимая игрушка» (детям предлагается принести на занятие любимую иг

рушку; игра «Угадай, что это?»; рассказ о любимой игрушке).
Тема 6: «Животные и птицы».
Имена животных в Англии:
кошки — Albert, Edward, Sylvester, Honey, Lucky, Sherry, Toddy, Twinkle, Nooks;
попугаи — Polly, Jimmy, George, Joe;
кролики — Percy, Harry, Basher, Bunny, Thumper;
рыбки — Fred, Charlie, Spark, Spotty;
морские свинки — Peter, Midge, Prooper;
хомячки — Jeremy, Peter;
черепахи — Terry, Fred, Tommy.
Вариант клубной работы во втором классе
Во втором классе, когда у детей уже имеется какой-то запас английских слов, можно организовать Клуб ценителей (любителей) английского языка с целью расширения знаний учащихся об Англии, ее народе, традициях. Тематика ориентирована на школьную программу с более детальным изучением быта английских школьников.
Тема 1: «Представьте, что английские школьники приехали к нам в школу».
Тема 2: «Заочное путешествие в дом английского мальчика (девочки) «Му House is my Castle».
Тема 3: «Современные игрушки английских детей»(обсуждение фотографий и рисунков).
Тема 4: «Английские блюда» (праздники и будни).
Тема 5 (творческая): «Изготовление английского костюма с последующим использованием в инсценировке сказки».

Ориентировочный план работы клуба для учащихся третьих классов
Тема 1: «Путешествие на далекий остров» (сведения о географическом положении Англии, об административно-политическом устройстве страны).
Тема 2: «Экскурсия по Лондону» (достопримечательности).
Тема 3: «В гости к английским школьникам» (сведения об английской школе, о режиме дня английских школьников, о предметах, изучаемых ими).
Тема 4: «На досуге» (игры, в которые играют английские школьники).
Тема 5: «Английские праздники» (составление календаря английских праздников; подготовка и проведение по сценарию какого-либо праздника).
Тема 6: «Английский фольклор» (изучение английских песен, стихов и сказок; инсценировка полюбившейся сказки).
Тема 7. «Любимые лакомства английских ребят» (наиболее популярные английские блюда; приготовление блюд детьми и проведение праздничного обеда).
Тема 8. «Переписка с детьми из Англии».
Тема 9. «Подготовка и проведение праздника для малышей «Знакомьтесь: Англия!»
Клуб юных репортеров «Open your eyes and ears»
Занятия в этом клубе предполагают углубленное изучение английского языка с целью сообще

ния каких-либо страноведческих сведений в стенной газете. Интересные рубрики:
1. «Расскажу об Англии» (сведения о традициях, праздниках в Англии, рассказы о королеве, ее приближенных, о символике Англии и пр.).
2. «Проверь себя» (вопросы из истории, географии, кулинарии Англии и пр.).
3. «Кроссворды об Англии».
4. «Сегодня праздник» (к официальным праздникам Англии — Дню Святого Валентина, Рождеству, и неофициальным праздникам — Дню юмора, Дню школы и пр.).
5. «Наша школа» (интервью со «знаменитостями» школы, сплетни-слухи о том, что может произойти и т.д.).
6. «Угадай, кто» (карикатуры с юмористическими пояснениями).
7. «Поиграй с нами» (дидактические игры на английском языке).
Клуб «Сим-сим, откройся!»
Работа клуба направлена на то, чтобы каждый раз дети узнавали что-то новое, а главное — видели результаты своей работы. Сообщение новой темы можно проводить в форме «отворения двери» в мир знаний, говоря волшебные слова: «Сим-сим, откройся!»
Проводя клубную работу, следует развивать творческие способности детей. Можно провести конкурс рисунков к английским сказкам, которые дети читают здесь же, в клубе. После этого можно предложить детям самим сочинить сказку на английском языке и инсценировать ее. Сказку

можно показать на празднике, приуроченном к какому-либо событию.
Для того, чтобы дети учились вежливо обращаться на английском языке, можно предложить им провести день в роли придворных королевского двора (напомнить, что Англия—это монархия). Такой день можно проводить один раз в месяц. На этот день выбирается «королева», которая отдает приказы своим «придворным», используя «волшебные» слова вежливости. «Придворные» так же вежливо отвечают ей. Подобный день «Королевского двора» можно приурочивать к различным «ритуалам»:
1. «Ритуал одевания королевы» (используется лексика по теме «Clothes» и фразы «Give me, please:», «I want to get:» и т.д.)
2. «Королевский завтрак» (лексика по теме «Meals»).
3. «День в театре» и т.д.
В работу клуба можно ввести «поэтическую страничку», где дети будут учиться сочинять стихи на английском языке («Роет page»).

(ехидно). А, дорогие мои подданные... (Недовольно.) Опять вы опоздали! Даже после того, как из нашей страны исчезла эта несносная Алиса, здесь невозможно навести порядок!
(успокаивающе). Зато какие вы все сегодня красивые и нарядные.
Еще бы! Принарядились, чтобы погулять за счет королевской казны!

Нарядились, потому что сегодня замечательный праздник, который бывает только раз в году!
По-моему, и одного раза слишком много! (Нравоучительно.) Праздники нарушают ход государственных дел. Вот сегодня к нам должен был приехать заграничный посол. Как же
его зовут? Э... э-э... Ну такой... уже дедушка с длинной белой бородой, ездит в санях и вечно таскает за собой какой-то мешок. Причем, визиты наносит только зимой. М-м... Как же его имя?

Слышится свист ветра и шаги. Из-за ширмы, на которой нарисован камин, появляется Санта Клаус.

3. Игра «Кто быстрей?» (Играют пятеро детей. Под музыку (звучит песня на английском языке) дети ходят по классу, в центре которого стоят 4 стула. Как только музыка прерывается, дети должны занять места на стульях. Проигрывает тот, кому не хватило места. Занимая место на стуле, каждый должен сказать: «I am here!»).
4. Кто быстрее нарисует на воздушном шарике лицо Снегурочки, приклеит волосы, наденет корону?
Каждому победителю вручается небольшой приз.

Класс заранее делится на две-три команды, каждая из которых выбирает себе капитана, придумывает название (названием команды является название цветка на английском языке), а также делает эмблемы и цветы из бумаги по одному для каждой мамы. Родители готовят сладости, угощения.
Здравствуйте, дорогие родители и дети! Сегодня у нас не простой день, сегодня праздник.

Ребята, все вы знаете, что 8 Марта — международный праздник. И сегодня мы его отметим не как обычно, а представим себя англичанами. Как на английском языке

Сегодня мы посмотрим, кто лучше всех сможет поздравить наших мам и девочек на английском языке.
Итак, у нас есть две (три) команды. Первая
называется (дети произносят название своей
команды), вторая — ..., третья — ... .
Проведение конкурсов
1-й конкурс. Участники каждой команды должны описать цветок, который они сделали заранее (желательно, чтобы при описании цветка каждый ученик сказал по предложению на английском языке). После дети вручают всем мамам по цветку.
2-й конкурс. За определенное время участники каждой команды должны написать как можно больше пожеланий, поздравлений с 8 Марта на английском языке.
3-й конкурс — капитанов. Каждый капитан должен сделать шаг и сказать прилагательное на английском языке, относящееся к мамам (ласковая, добрая, заботливая, любимая и т.п.). Кто больше сделает шагов и ближе станет к мамам, тот и выиграл.
4-й конкурс. Все мальчики каждой команды поздравляют девочек своей команды, рассказывают стихотворение или поют песню на английском языке.
5-й конкурс — «Мамины помощники». Каждой команде предоставляется стол, посуда, угощения. Задача детей — как можно быстрее накрыть

столы, пригласить мам, возле каждого предмета положить карточку с названием команды на английском языке.
Подводятся итоги конкурсов: каждой команде вручаются медали за 1-е, 2-е, 3-е место (на обратной стороне медалей девочкам заранее пишутся пожелания на английском языке).

7-й конкурс «Портрет мамы»
Из каждой команды выходит по одному участнику. Перед ними ставится задание: описать маму. А в это время все остальные участники должны быстро нарисовать портрет, подходящий под описание участника своей команды. Затем определяется, чей портрет больше всего подходит под описание.
Итоги игры подводят родители, которые сообщают, что сегодня победила дружба, все команды хорошо выступали.
Все дети хором рассказывают стихотворение-поздравление.

Лучше всего провести этот конкурс, разбив всех девочек на пары (тройки), в которых они будут все время участвовать. Можно каждой мини-команде дать какое-либо звание. В конце определить призовые места, раздать поощрительные призы. 1. Накрыть стол. Дано: салфетка, тарелка, чашка, ложка, вилка, нож. Задание: накрыть стол и назвать, что где лежит
по-английски, например: the fork is to the left the spoon (knife) is to the right the plate is in the middle the cup is above the plate и т.д. 2. Назвать героев английских сказок.
3. Рассказать заранее составленное на английском языке пожелание, поздравление маме, бабушке.
4. Даны отрезы ткани, из них без ножниц и ниток сделать костюм и назвать его по-английски. Или дана цветная гофрированная бумага. Надо придумать костюм цветка, сделать его и тоже назвать. «Robin Hood»
It is the twelfth century and Robin Hood is living in Sherwood Forest with his men. Not far away in the next town is their enemy, the Sheriff of Nottingham
Our story begins in 1066. In that year the Normans came from France and defeated the Anglo-Saxons. The Normans then ruled England for the next three hundred years until slowly the Normans and Anglo-Saxons became one nation: the English.
There were lots of forests and wild animals in England at the time. These forests belonged to the Normans. The Saxons were not allowed to the hunt in them or to kill any animals.
If the Saxons killed any of the King’s animals, the Normans hanged them or cut off a hand or an arm. Saxons had no rights and if they broke a law, the only hope for them was to leave their villages and hide in the forests where our story takes place.

I’m alone. And I must talk to Robin Hood.

I’m Robin Hood. Now tell me who are you and why you’ve come here.
I’m one of the Sheriff’s servants, but I’m a Saxon, too. Today the Sheriff’s men caught three brothers. They killed a deer in the forest and now the Sheriff wants to hang them.
Who are they?
The Stout brothers, Will, Lester and John. Their father is dead. If they are hung, their mother will be alone. They had no food, Robin. They had to kill the deer.

(in the beggar’s clothes). I’ll hang them for that money.
Voices. Stay where you are! You can’t do that! We’re all Saxons here. We can’t hang them.
Forty gold coins for the man who hang them.
Holds up the money.
I’ll hang them. I’m not frightened of this crowd. Give me the money.

There are more than 50 theatres in the West End of London. Many small theatres and theatre clubs are in Greater London. Some of the plays and shows last for a few weeks. Some go on for years. Most of the shows which go on in the West End are light comedies.
Some theatres put on the stage more serious plays. The Royal Shakespeare Company at the Ald-wych Theatre is one of the leading companies in England.
The National Theatre is one of London’s most famous theatres. The building is modern, the plays are classics and new productions.

Forks and Fingers
You eat with a fork, don’t you? It is a usual thing now. But many years ago people didn’t eat with forks.
Here is a story to illustrate this fact. It was in

1608. Thomas Coryat [’koriat], an English traveller, went to Italy. There he saw forks for the first time in his life. In Italy people ate meat with them. When Thomas Coryat came back to England he brought some forks with him. He showed them to his friends but they laughed at him very much. The first friend said, «Do you think that people in England don’t wash hands before eating? »
The second friend said, «Aren’t the ten fingers enough for us? »
Thomas Coryat was angry. He wanted to show how to eat with a fork. He took some meat with a fork but it fell down. His friends laughed and laughed at him. So Thomas Coryat put the fork back into his pocket.

Good Rules to Remember
1. Always wash your hands before eating.
2. Don’t talk with your mouth full.
3. If you eat meat, eat it with a fork and a knife.

6. Never eat with a spoon those things that you must eat with a fork.
7. When you have tea or coffee, don’t put your spoon into the cup or glass. Put the spoon only on the saucer.
8. Don’t stand up when other people are still eating.
9. Always remember to say «Please» when you ask somebody to pass you something.
10. Always remember to say «Thank you» when somebody passes you something.
If You Want a Thing Well Done
There is an English proverb which says: «If you want a thing well done, do it yourself». You understand it.
What can schoolchildren do themselves? You can wash the dishes, sweep the floor, clean the rooms, try to make something for your family with your own hands: a toy for your little sister or brother, small presents for Christmas, etc.

GAMES Игры
«John and Mary»
Играющие, взявшись за руки, образуют круг. Выбираются двое водящих: мальчик и девочка (в процессе игры их называют John and Магу). Они стоят в центре круга. Мальчику завязывают глаза, и он должен постараться поймать девочку. Время от времени мальчик выкрикивает: «Магу, where are you?» Девочка должна ответить: «John, here I ат». Ее голос помогает мальчику определить место, где она находится. Если мальчик поймает девочку, он становится в круг, а на его место выбирается другой водящий. Девочке завязывают глаза, и она должна поймать нового водящего.
London Bridge
Двое самых высоких учеников берутся за руки, поднимают их высоко и образуют таким образом «мост». Предварительно каждый из них загадывает какое-нибудь слово (a pie — а саке, а river — a mountain, silver — gold, a cat — a dog, etc.). Остальные участники игры становятся друг за другом и проходят «по мосту через арку» (т.е. под руками водящих).
При этом они поют следующее:
«London Bridge is falling down,
Falling down, falling down,
London Bridge is falling down, My fair lady».
После этого водящие продолжают песенку: «I caught one,

I caught two,
I caught many, And I caught you». При слове «you» «мост» падает на того, кто в это время «проходит по нему», т.е. водящие опускают руки, поймав таким образом одного из играющих. Пойманному ученику предлагается выбрать один из двух предметов:

Ученик отвечает на вопрос и становится за спиной того водящего, которого он выбрал. Игра продолжается.
Memory Run
Участвующие в игре могут сидеть или стоять. Учитель (или ведущий) вызывает их по очереди. Первый ученик подбегает к какому-либо предмету, находящемуся в комнате, дотрагивается до него и называет его по-английски. После этого он возвращается бегом на свое место. Второй ученик подбегает к этомуже предмету, дотрагивается до него, повторяет его название по-английски, потом дотрагивается до какого-либо другого предмета, называет его по-английски и возвращается на свое место.
Третий ученик называет те же предметы, что и его товарищи, и добавляет название

третьего предмета и т.д. Предметы нужно называть в том порядке, в котором это делали предыдущие ученики.
Игра должна проводиться в быстром темпе.
Midnight
Для игры выбирается водящий. В одном углу зала мелом помечено место водящего — его «дом», в противоположном углу — место играющих, это — их «дом». Дети покидают свой «дом» и приближаются к «дому» водящего. Они спрашивают его: «What time is it?» Водящий называет любое время: «It is ten o’clock», «It is half past three» и т.п. Дети находятся в безопасности, если названо любое время, кроме полуночи. Но когда водящий говорит: «It is midnight», дети должны бежать «домой», вводящий гонится за ними, стараясь поймать как можно больше ребят. Те ученики, которых он поймал, идут в «дом» водящего и помогают ему ловить остальных играющих. Тот ученик, которого

поймали последним, становится водящим, и игра продолжается.
Animal Hunt
Один из учеников выбирается «охотником», остальные ученики — «животными». Учитель тихонько говорит каждому из них по-английски название какого-либо животного. Одно и то же название может быть дано нескольким ученикам, т.е. будет несколько «foxes», «hares», «wolves», «bears», «tigers», «lions» и т.п. Если играющих много, они могут быть разделены на группы: группа «лисиц», группа «зайцев» и т.д.
В двух противоположных углах зала отмечены мелом «загоны».
«Животные» собираются в одном «загоне», «охотник» стоит недалеко от него. Он выкрикивает по-английски название какого-либо животного, например, волка. Ученики, получившие это название, должны перебежать из одного «загона» в другой. Задача «охотника» — поймать одного из них. Пойманный ученик становится помощником «охотника».
Тот ученик, которого поймали последним, становится «охотником», и игра продолжается.

ДОРОГИЕ КОЛЛЕГИ!
Наше школьное расписание выделяет слишком мало времени на изучение английского языка на уроках. А дети очень хотят знать больше, уметь разговаривать и понимать по-английски. Почему бы не использовать желание детей, их интерес и энергию для работы над английским языком во внеурочное время?
Очень хочется верить в то, что внеклассная работа по английскому языку станет неотъемлемой частью всего учебно-воспитательного процесса в начальной школе.
Вы хорошо помните сами, с каким энтузиазмом в студенческие годы разыгрывали сценки, рифмовали стишки, собирали материал о популярных певцах, актерах и актрисах, об англоговорящих странах, коллекционировали бог весть что по принципу «Made in...».
Представьте себе азарт и стремление младших школьников, которые направлены в благодатное русло изучения английского языка всеми доступными методами и формами! Это лавина желания знать больше вовлекает огромное количество единомышленников и помощников: мам и пап, дедушек и бабушек, старших братьев и сестер, знакомых иностранцев, друзей по переписке, и, конечно же, вас, учителей английского языка начальной школы.
Неужели вы позволите себе пройти мимо этой всеобщей заинтересованности, особенно сейчас? Нет, не пройдете, если вы — настоящий учитель, болеющий нашей общей всепоглощающей болезнью — любовью к детям и к свое

му нелегкому ремеслу обучения иностранному языку вне языковой среды.
Я глубоко уверена в том, что у каждого из учителей английского языка начальной школы есть свой интересный материал по организации внеклассной работы. Я буду рада, если эта книга хоть немного облегчит вам тернистый путь поисков и расширит круг вашей деятельности во внеклассной работе.

Если они увидят вашу неподдельную заинтересованность в их учебе, эффект, уверяю вас, будет потрясающий.
Помогите вашему ребенку в начале трудного пути, и воздастся вам за труды ваши!
Любите детей и помогайте нашим маленьким человечкам, чтобы они были теми, кого вы хотите в них видеть.
