and traveling to different countries. In fact, this
profession involves daily hard work.
This profession has many advantages: the
opportunity to visit different countries from a
young age, soak up the culture of different peoples and their traditions, flexible work schedule;
combining work with other areas of activity and
study. Now I am still studying at my dream university in Switzerland.
But the most important advantage lies in the ability to penetrate the society of creative individuals.
Of course, there are some difficulties in this profession. The modeling business is highly competitive. To stand out from the crowd at the casting,
it is not enough to have a memorable appearance
and extraordinary diligence. Personality is highly
valued these days. your special skills. for example in sports , or you are a famous blogger or you
have acting skills .
A model must always look good, otherwise her
career is doomed to failure. Working on yourself
takes a lot of effort. To keep fit, I exercise regularly. Now I am passionate about Thai boxing
and you can see stories about it on my instagram.
Also, 3 times a week, I work out in the gym with
a personal trainer who makes sure that my muscles do not pump over, but the body remains dry
and toned. Stretching is also very useful. At least
once a week. I also added shooting once a week.
It develops reaction and trains character. All this

Jocelyn: Among other things- yes. I’d say I’m
a survivor, author, model and influencer first.
But I love a good event or party!

What do you love about them?
J: I love to see how people are styled- what
they’re wearing and how they’re wearing it.
The hair and makeup trends. The way the
space is styled, decorated. And I love to meet
new people!
Would you say that LA or Miami has better
events and parties?
J: I would say that LA used to have better events and parties, for sure around Hollywood with the award shows and releases.
But since COVID so many people from NY
and Cali have relocated that the scene in Miami has rapidly grown.
What are some of the parties you attend?
J: I love a good restaurant opening, and gallery openings (especially around Art Basel
there are a ton of great parties in Miami).
I recently attended the private opening
of the Museum of Sex new Miami location,
which was incredibly creative and sexy. The
NY location is on fifth avenue but this one is
in a 32,000 square foot warehouse in the art
district. They had innovative shows, including
a mermaid performance in a giant clear tank.

Maxim also throws great parties in
Miami annually, at Hyde usually. Along
with the Babes in Toyland Charity functions, which are in both Miami and LA.
And I’m a sucker for the red carpet!
That sounds amazing. And you were
recently nominated for an influencer
award, correct?
J: Yes, I was a Golden Gram Awards
nominee. That event was held at Gulfstream, created by Jeton Mullaliu who
also has JFNextJourney Productions,
and is between LA and Miami. It was a
glamorous evening with several fashion
shows.
And what have been some of your favorite fashion shows lately?
J: To attend? Or to walk in?
Both!
J: Well the Retrofete show was my favorite of NYFW. I sat front row and got
to hang with influencers including Marissa Everhart and Charlie Jordan, and
admire runway models Frida Assen and
Elsa Hosk.

But I walked in a really cool one that week right in the
middle of Time Square on an elevated runway for Model
Mafia. Felt like I was on top of the world! Ran straight
from that show to the Conrad hotel for Bureau Fashion
week with designer Krissy King. I got to wear wings again
for her, which is such an honor.
NYFW is like one big party. Just eating at Ciprianis that
week I saw Jared Leto, Serena Williams and lots of other
stars. It’s such a scene for that week, I love the energy!
I also really enjoyed walking for Natalia Fedner for LA
Fashion week this year with Art Hearts. Her mesh medal
dresses are truly works of art. I posted a behind the scenes
look from that show on my Instagram that shows what
chaos goes on preparing for these high-level production
fashion shows.
We always appreciate your behind the scenes!
J: That makes me happy. I just posted a video from behind the scenes of my photoshoot for Lange hair products
the other day! Had a great time with them on set! We
made it a party!
What would you like to share most about all of these experiences with your audience?
J: That you can really do whatever you want to do, if you
believe in yourself. I was always told that I was too short
to walk in NY or LA Fashion Weeks…and then the industry changed and my dreams came true. It’s not important
how the world will shift to make it happen, just focus on
what you want, invest in yourself and believe! The ‘how’
will be worked out by the universe!
