The living room is not very big. There is a coffee table in the middle, and a sofa next to it. Next to the sofa there is a chest of drawers. On the chest there is a big plant. Near the coffee table there is an armchair and a TV. On the floor next to the armchair there is a lamp.

Negations Отрицательные предложения
В отрицательных предложениях not добавляется к соответствующей форме глагола to be.
Отрицательные формы is not и are not употребляются обычно в сокращенной форме isn't или aren't.

По правилам английского языка, в повествовательных предложениях подлежащее всегда стоит перед сказуемым. Существительные в английском языке не изменяются, не склоняются. Можно легко определить по их положению в предложении: подлежащее это или дополнение.

I (подлежащее) + have got казуемое) + a dog (дополнение).
Если присутствуют другие части предложения, то они дожны быть в определенном порядке. Заметьте где стоит too и also
There's a lamp on the table.
На столе стоит лампа.
There's a lamp on the floor too.
На полу тоже стоит лампа.

There's also a lamp on the floor. На полу также есть лампа.
There are some chairs in the kitchen.

На первый взгляд, порядок слов в предложениях с конструкциями there is I there are отличается от других английских предложений, но в сущности, порядок слов одинаков. Слово there выступает в роли подлежащего. После ставится глагол (to be) в нужной форме и остальные части предложения.
There (подлежащее) + is (сказуемое) + a fireplace in the living room.
Grammar

Однако, предложения такого типа можно также начинать с обстоятельства места в том случае, если в предложении есть несколько слов или словосочетаний, указывающих на местонахождение, или когда местонахождение предмета играет важную роль в повествовании:
