Applelicious Pie
1 8 oz. package cream cheese
*/2 Cup sugar
2 eggs
2 Tblsp milk V» tsp vanilla
2 (21 oz.) cans Cinnamon ’n Spice apple pie filling 
1 unbaked pie crust (for 9" pie dish)
In a food processor or with a mixer, blend softened cream cheese, eggs, sugar, milk and vanilla. Pour into piecrust which is in a 9" deep glass pie dish. Pour pie filling over cream cheese mixture. Bake at 375v for 30 minutes. Sprinkle one of the following toppings over the apples and bake another 25-30 minutes or until top is golden brown.

I Corinthians 13, the Love
Chapter, is beautifully stitched in soft pinks, greens and blues. What a noble tribute! Add a special touch with beads and homespun lace and you will create a beautiful remembrance of true, enduring love.

Quilt Directions
1.	Stitch each alphabet boy centered on an 8" square of aida. Trim to 7”.
2.	Cut 28 7” squares of calico to correspond with diagram.
3.	Alternate calico and stitched squares for each row as per diagram. Use a V2” seam allowance. Finished block willbe 6”.
4.	Cut two side strips (7”x49”) and sew to each side of quilt.
5.	Top & bottom strips: Cut 4 7" squares and two strips (7”x43”), sew one calico square to each end of strips. Then sew strips to top ana bottom of quilt.
6.	Cut calico backing and batting (55x61). Sew backing and batting face to face with quilt top on all four sides, leaving about 6” open on one side. Clip corners. Turn right side out. Slip stitch seam.
7.	Tack or tie comers of blocks to keep quilt and batting square.
8.	Your finished quilt will be 54”x60” when finished. You may hang on a wall or add an even larger border and use on a child’s bed.

If you are not much of a seamstress, ask at your local shop-soft finishing is frequently less expensive tnan “hard” finishing (i.e. framing). Or ask among your non-cross stitch friends-per-haps one (or more!) of them would like to trade services-you cross stitch for her and she’ll sew for you!
Have fun-it will be so nice to get some of those pieces really finished! (So you can make more with a clear conscience!)
